KANAL-Centre Pompidou's temporary closed showroom next to the canal is part of the grand architectural project for the future museum of modern and contemporary art.
This public space will be equipped with furniture that should fit with near-outdoor situations.
The main focus lies on durability, reusability and efficient use of materials.
our role.
We designed the pieces of furniture to be both of a high aesthetic and technical level. For this, we collaborated closely with the client to match the expression of the building and project vision. An important aspect of the prototype is that is sustainable throughout development and use.
The designed system is universally applicable, limitlessly expendable and easily adjustable.
